Student Fellowship is a scheme aimed to provide training for young, remarkable scientific talents planning to pursue academic careers in the field of basic sciences. Each Fellow will have the opportunity to experience the research culture and environment at KIAS while studying under the guidance of world-class scientists at the Institute, and some may also have the chance to participate in joint research projects. This is a program for undergraduates and graduate students with high potential and strong interest for basic science research.

Applications for Student Fellows are accepted throughout the year. Applicants for Undergraduate Fellowship should have completed a minimum of 2 years of their undergraduate courses with plans to continue on to graduate school to study basic sciences. Applicants for Graduate Fellowship should have completed their undergraduate degree and have plans for or be enrolled in graduate program in relevant fields. Applications must include the following documents:application form, statement of purpose, academic transcript, and documents proving your current status such as proof of enrollment, certificate of graduation, or letter of acceptance by a graduate program.
