Professor

The School of Computational Sciences at Korea Institute for Advanced Study is seeking outstanding faculty candidates for one full-time Professor position in one of the areas of Computational sciences.
 

The candidates are required to have doctorate degrees in the relevant fields for which computational methods are appropriate or even necessary: all areas of Computational Sciences including Computational Biology

The initial appointment for the faculty position is from one to three years and is renewable for every up to seven additional years depending on overall research performance. Accommodation may be supported upon request, depending on the availability of vacancies

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, five letters of recommendation, a research statement and additional materials that may help assess the candidate’s academic capabilities through KIAS recruitment webpage (https://jobs.kias.re.kr) by February 29, 2024 (GMT +9) for full consideration.

Applicants are asked to prepare all documents in English, with the exception of reference letters. KIAS Professors should not be included among the referees. All documents should be submitted by deadline, and if any of a certain applicant’s required documents is missing or incomplete, the applicant’s materials may not be evaluated. The recruitment process consists of document screening and evaluation by the AD Hoc committee, which includes an open lecture or interview
