Research Fellow
The School of Computational Sciences at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites applications for KIAS research fellow positions in Computational Sciences.
Applicants are expected to have demonstrated exceptional research potential, including major contributions beyond or through their doctoral dissertations. The annual salary is around 48,200,000 Korean Won (current exchange rate) excluding severance pay; an individual research grant of about 10,000,000 Korean Won and a benefit card of approximately 2,000,000 Korean Won will be available each year. (Benefits are subject to change depending on internal regulations and funding.) The initial appointment for this position is for two years with the possibility of a one-time renewal of up to two to three additional years, depending on research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.

The School of Computational Sciences accepts applications for Project Research Fellow positions for the following research field.

Area: Analyzing quantum entanglement under a noisy environment and
developing active noise control schemes for quantum repeater
The contract period of each position may be adjusted according to the project conditions. The relevant project will end in December 2026.
