Research Fellow

The School of Mathematics at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites applications for the positions at the level of postdoctoral research fellow in mathematics.

Applicants are expected to have demonstrated exceptional research potential, including major contributions beyond or through their doctoral dissertations. The annual salary is around 48,500,000 Korean Won (current exchange rate); an individual research grant of about 10,000,000 Korean Won and a benefit card will be available each year. (Benefits are subject to change depending on internal regulations and funding.) The initial appointment for this position is for two years with possibility of a one-time renewal of up to two to three additional years, depending on research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.

Project Research Fellow - Probability Theory

The School of Mathematics accepts applications for Project Research Fellow positions in Probability Theory. 

Applicants are expected to have demonstrated research potential beyond or through their doctoral dissertations. The contract period of each position may be adjusted according to the project/program conditions. Please refer to the individual job announcements for further information.
