Professor
The School of Mathematics of Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites exceptional candidates in the field of Mathematics for the Professor position. Applicants should have demonstrated strong commitment to research and possess an excellent track record. The ability of establishing collaboration teams and training junior scientists will also be considered in the evaluation of candidates.
The initial appointment is for one to three years with possibilities of renewal for up to seven additional years. On-campus housing may be supported upon request, depending on the availability of vacancies. There are no teaching duties.

Research Fellow
The School of Mathematics at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites applications for positions at the level of postdoctoral research fellow in mathematics.
Applicants are expected to have demonstrated exceptional research potential, including major contributions beyond or through their doctoral dissertations. The annual salary is around 46,200,000 Korean Won (current exchange rate) excluding severance pay; an individual research grant of about 10,000,000 Korean Won and a benefit card of approximately 2,000,000 Korean Won will be available each year. (Benefits are subject to change depending on internal regulations and funding.) The initial appointment for this position is for two years with the possibility of a one-time renewal of up to two to three additional years, depending on research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.
