ABSTRACT: PAC fields have long been studied by model theorists from various perspectives. In this talk, I will begin with a brief introduction to PAC fields and their basic model theoretic properties. I will then focus on definable groups in a PAC field F, and on how such groups can relate to algebraic groups over $F$ in certain cases. Finally, I will present an original result on definable groups in Frobenius fields, based on recent work of Chatzidakis and Ramsey on measures in bounded perfect PAC fields.
