ABSTRACT: Langlands duality originated from arithmetic but it evolved to geometric duality and finally related to physical duality. Moreover, recently these dualities were extended to relative Langlands duality, 3 dimensional mirror symmetry and symplectic duality. This semester(every Friday 10.30-13.30, from September 12th, 2025 to Jan. 30th, 2026) we cover some papers including 1. Electric-Magnetic duality and the geometic Langlands program(hep-th 0604151, by Anton Kapustin and Edward Witten) 2. Recent advances in the Langlands program(math 0303074, by Edward Frenkel) 3. Gauge theory and Langlands duality(math 0906.2747, by Edward Frenkel) Next semester in 2026, we will cover the 3 dimensional mirror symmetry, symplectic duality and relative Langlands duality.
