TITLE Equivariant cohomology for Hamiltonian torus actions
ABSTRACT

For a given symplectic manifold with a Hamiltonian torus action on it, one can associate
the equivariant cohomology ring. Equivariant cohomology of a Hamiltonian torus action has a
particularly nice structure in the sense that it is equivariantly formal, that is, it is a free module over
the cohomology ring of the classifying space of the torus. In this talk, I will explain how
to find a good integral basis and give several examples of the computation of the structure
constants associated to the basis. We also discuss some applications to equivariant symplectic topology.
