|TITLE||Compactifications of 6d N=(1,0) SCFTs with non-trivial Stiefel-Whitney classes|
The study of the compactification of 6d SCFTs has thought us much about the dynamics of 4d theories. Yet to fully utilize this we need to consider what are the possible options we have in the compactification. In this talk we consider such choices for torus compactification when the 6d global symmetry group is not simply connected. We shall see that this allows us to realize new 4d N=2 theories.
