|TITLE||Dark Matter Direct Detection with Spin-2 Mediators|
We consider a massive spin-two resonance acting as the mediator between Dark Matter (DM) and particles in the Standard Model(SM) through the energy-momentum tensor. The scattering amplitudes between DM (scalar, fermion or vector particles) and SM are examined in terms of effective operators in the effective theory after the mediator is integrated out. We match the nuclear matrix elements with the gravitational form factors relevant for spin-independent DM-nucleon scattering. As a result, we calculate the differential scattering event rates for dark matter with the spin-2 mediator and discuss the interplay between DM relic density conditions, direct detection bounds and collider searches.
