|TITLE||Algebraic aspects of large gauge transformation|
Recently, large gauge symmetry, the emergent symmetry acting on the soft photon / graviton induced by gauge symmetry, has drawn interest as it provides a novel interpretation on the soft theorem and also a connection to the memory effect. In this talk, we discuss the closed algebra which includes the large gauge transformation charge, as well as the helicity operator in the QED case. From this, I try to argue the connection of large gauge transformation to the Lorentz group representation and electromagnetic duality.
