Nonlinear partial differential equations

Sung-Jin Oh studies nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equations, in particular geometric equations arising from physics, using techniques drawn from geometric and harmonic analyses. His interests include the Einstein gravitational field equation, Yang-Mills, Maxwell-Klein-Gordon, Chern-Simons, and Euler equations.
